Our first hedgehog came to us from Bunny Trails pet ranch. She was just a baby when we got her and so sweet. She is responsible for getting us hooked on hedgies!
Hedgehogs are lots of fun to own. They're a very unique pet and having one of these cute little guys around is a very rewarding experience.

They are generally friendly when handled regularly, although I think they enjoy handling mostly because they think their owners are fun to climb on. Hedgehogs are nocturnal and are active late in the evening. They spend most of the day sleeping but ours have no problem waking up for treats or play time. When they are awake they love to climb, run and play in their cages.
