Kritter Korner began in the summer of 2000, with the purchase of our first purebred bunny, a mini rex of course. This rabbit opened our eyes the wonderful world of showing. I (Katelyn) started showing in 4-H and became seriously addicted. One rabbit became two, and those two became 8. Soon, we were attending every open show and exhibition in the Maritimes with our Mini Rexes.
The addiction didn’t stop at Mini Rexes though, I soon decided that I had to have a pair of English Lops. It was around the same time that my sidekick and travel partner (Anne), who is also my mother for those of you who don’t know, decided that she needed her own breed and bought a trio of Himalayans.
Since then, we have raised and shown a variety of breeds, but have been with the 4 we have now for several years. We show all over the Maritimes as well as Quebec from time to time, and the states. We are also 4-H leaders of our local rabbit club.
